The salon stays busy with clients during the summer as the numbers of highlight requests increase. Perms, cuts and color are available as well as up-dos for proms, weddings and special occasions.

“Guests are coming in for hair brightening up and cheering up for trips to the pool and the beach,” Thom said. Adding that with the high amount of client traffic, they plan to add four more stylists by the end of the summer. “I enjoy meeting and talking with new people and making them feel good as they leave with their new color and new hairdo.”

Thom has 20 years of experience in the hair industry and his wife, Sherie, has 25 years’ experience. Sherie provides hair care and specialty waxes to her clients whom she refers to as “guests”. Men, women and children are welcome guests. Sherie enjoys the creative side of working with hair.

“I love it when I am able to be creative and use the skills I've been taught to take care of my guests,” she said.

A selection of merchandise and gifts is abundant at the salon. Redken hair products, BioElements skin care products, Sorme make-up, candles, votives, jewelry and more can be purchased.
